De Rossi talk has familiar feel

Roma's Daniele de Rossi is linked with City in today's media - like he was exactly a week ago!
A week is a long time in politics, so they say, but it seems to be pretty quick when it comes to football and there's a familiar ring to the Daily Mail's story.
"Manchester City are poised to firm up interest in Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi with a £20million offer.
"The Italy star, 29, has been on Roberto Mancini's wishlist for 18 months and only signed a five-year contract in February." Compare and contrast with last Saturday's version, as we flagged up here on WTMS.
The transfer merry-go-round, if you can imagine such a thing, continues to whirl and Championship side Wolves are said to be on it.
The Molineux club have accepted a transfer request from defender Christophe Berra and have eyes on a replacement from City according to the Daily Express.
"Wolves are keen to sign Manchester City’s Montenegro defender Stefan Savic on a season-long loan after accepting Christophe Berra’s transfer request."
And in one of the more tenuous links to create a City story out of nothing that you'll ever see, we are mentioned in passing over Brazilian midfielder Lucas Moura.
This is from sambafoot.com, although they've taken it from elsewhere:
"Sao Paulo sporting director Adalberto Baptista has denied that the club have received any interest from Manchester City in attacking midfielder Lucas Moura.
"Lucas, 19, has been a major target for rivals Manchester United in recent weeks, with the Red Devils seeing two bids rejected for the Sao Paulo youngster.
"With United and Inter Milan seemingly weighing up their options, there had been talk of an offer for the youngster from City. Baptista, though, has rejected those claims.
"The official told Calcio Mercato: 'Interest from Manchester City? We are not aware of it and we have not had contact with them.'"
