The international break is still upon us and thus the focus remains on the players' foreign exploits this morning.
News from the Italy camp suggests that Mario Balotelli could return to the squad tomorrow as the Azzuri host Denmark.
According to The Independent the City striker is recovering well from flu.
“Mario Balotelli is expected to return to the Italy squad after the forward missed Friday's win in Armenia with flu,” the paper claims.
"Team doctor Enrico Castellacci says he has responded well to tests.
“The Manchester City striker, 22, pulled out of the Azzurri squad for their two opening World Cup qualifiers, against Bulgaria and Malta last month, after undergoing laser surgery on his eyes.”
The Dortmund striker was left frustrated when City’s number one pulled off a string of heroic saves to prevent him from scoring in the Champions League draw earlier this month.
“Lewandowski reckons the England stopper is world class but he is desperate to have the last laugh,” writes the paper’s John Cross.
“He is confident Poland can get the better of England tomorrow night – and says there is no way they will settle for a draw.”
Lewandowski said: “Hart was incredible against us. He saved his team and I only hope that his luck does not follow.
Nobody can doubt that Hart is one of the best keepers in the world and that’s why it will be difficult to get a victory against England.
“England will be very important for us and we need to show that we have a strong chance to qualify by winning the game. It could be decisive for us.
“If we can take seven points from our first three games by beating England then it will have been a sensational start for us.”
